NOTICE FOR NOVEMBER 2024 MEETING
We plan to meet at 5:30 PM at It's Greek To Me on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024. If the weather turns too cold, we may change the venue so please watch your emails for any updates.

On the 19th, we will discuss On Call: A Doctor's Journey in Public Service by Anthony Fauci, M.D.

Anthony Fauci is arguably the most famous – and most revered – doctor in the world today. His role guiding America sanely and calmly through Covid (and through the torrents of Trump) earned him the trust of millions during one of the most terrifying periods in modern American history, but this was only the most recent of the global epidemics in which Dr. Fauci played a major role. His crucial role in researching HIV and bringing AIDS into sympathetic public view and his leadership in navigating the Ebola, SARS, West Nile, and anthrax crises, make him truly an American hero.

Looking Ahead To January
We do not meet in December due to the holidays, so our next meeting will be January 21, 2025, giving us an opportunity to read a longer book for our January meeting.
Remember: this is your book club, and we want to read what you want to read and discuss. All members get an opportunity to recommend and vote on the books that are selected for our monthly reads. Please forward your recommendations for our January read to Elliot at 4esiegel@gmail.com by November 15th. We will vote on and select our January read during the last week in November.
