Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, where compassion meets comprehensive care! As a beacon of support in Beaufort and Jasper counties for over 40 years, we take pride in being one of only three agencies in South Carolina with dual licenses and certifications in both hospice and Palliative Care. Our incredible team is a tapestry of expertise, including a board-certified medical director, nationally certified nurses, compassionate nursing assistants, social workers, caring chaplains, a dedicated bereavement counselor, and a talented roster of therapists. Together with our full administrative support team, we create a holistic and supportive environment for our patients and their families. Ryan has a professional background in marketing and communications from previous roles at both a nonprofit organization and communications company. Ryan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Journalism and Master’s Degree in Professional Communication and Leadership from Georgia Southern University.

Over 200 passionate individuals from our community assist in various capacities, from patient and family care to supporting special projects, events, and fundraisers. We're more than an organization; we're a community-based, non-profit entity, unwaveringly independent of any for-profit interests.
