Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

Gun Violence Survivors Event

January 22 to 26 is National Gun Violence Survivors Week. It is a time to honor every life that has been touched by gun violence, from the more than 40,000 people killed and 100,000 people wounded each year to the countless others who have experienced the trauma of shootings or who have lost a loved one to this epidemic.

On Saturday, February 3rd, our local chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be hosting a panel discussion at the Bluffton Branch Library from 10:00am - 12:00pm, where you will hear gun violence survivor stories along with presentations from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services, and Hopeful Horizons. Richard Hammes will facilitate the discussion ending with an audience Q & A. Join us and find out what you can do to promote gun safety and end gun violence!
