Book Banning in Beaufort County – What you can do to stop this censorship

Join us for a dynamic and critical discussion about the recent efforts by reactionary groups in our own backyard attempting to remove almost 100 books from our Beaufort County school and public libraries – but they need your help. Learn about statewide efforts led by the Freedom to Read Coalition and activities in Beaufort County that advocate for free exchange of ideas.

There is no charge, but reservations are required at our website.  You will get an email containing the link the day before the meeting. On Tuesday January 10th, click on the link in the email to join us on Zoom.

2023 annual dues are $20 per person.  You may pay online when you make your reservation or mail a check payable to Democratic Club South of Broad, PO Box 23523, Hilton Head, SC 29925. Please include your email address and phone number on your check.
