Lowcountry Indivisible (LCI) is pleased to invite members of all other liberal Beaufort County organizations to our monthly Zoom meeting.
Mark your calendars: Our first speaker is Kristen French PhD (a member of the Charleston School board). Kristen is an expert on Critical Race Theory and she will speak and take questions on what CRT is, and is not. With controversies about CRT nationwide, and on Hilton Head Island, this is a presentation that must be seen by liberal minded individuals.
Second speaker is Toby Smith, Lead Interpretive Aide, Charleston Parks and Recreation Commission. Toby will be speaking on the history of slavery (from the slavery perspective) and colorism.
